For CTC Analytics AG we shot a product film for the PAL System, the platform for automated sample preparation and injection in the lab. The film runs 57 seconds and its on-screen text is in English.
The instrument stands in a dark room, lit precisely from above so that its shape stands out clearly against the background. Close-ups show sample vials in red, blue, green and yellow in their rack and a blue liquid behind glass. In between come short text cards such as «Automate the routine. Focus on the data.» and «Automated sample preparation and injection».
The approach is calm and exact: little movement, a lot of black, light as the main design tool. The film belongs to the same collaboration as the stadium spot we made for CTC Analytics with FC Basel.
